Description

This is a Cartesian robot platform that can be used for low-accuracy pick and place tasks and similar applications. Various tool heads can be attached to the Z axis of the bot.

  • Axis travel:
    • X (left-right): 12" (~300 mm)
    • Y (front-back): 7" (~170 mm)
    • Z (up-down): 5" (~120 mm)
  • Movement speed
    • Rapid positioning
        • XY: 400 IPM (~160 mm/s)
        • Z: 20 IPM (~8 mm/s)
    • Tracing
        • Speeds limited by acceleration, recommended 50 IPM (~20 mm/s)
        • Recommended acceleration value: TBD
  • Accuracy: estimated 0.04" (1 mm) +/- depending on movement speed
